Helping children/students develop a sense of connectedness (belonging, being important and contributing)

Notions of mutual respect and encouragement (empathy and firmness simultaneously),

which are intended to be effective in the long term.

Cooperation and sense of responsibility,

invite children/students to discover what they are capable of (encourage autonomy, responsibility, self-esteem, etc.).

Interest  for what children/students think, feel and learn, which will allow them to flourish in the future.

Teaching essential social skills, useful for oneself and within one's community (respect, caring for others, problem solving)
